Ma-Ga has been on the market since 1956. A very important event in the history of the company was the purchase of the LAN ELEC England license in 1975, so that modern food slicers could be produced. In 1989, another reorganization took place and the company was given the current name Bydgoskie Zakłady Maszyn Gastronomicznych "Ma-Ga".
