WHAT IS KION
Kion Group AG is a German multinational manufacturer of material handling equipment based in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany. Its main products are intralogistics, warehouse automation devices and industrial (forklift) trucks. The KION Group was founded in 2006 and is the second largest manufacturer of forklifts in the world in terms of revenues (after Toyota Industries).
In 2021, KION GROUP AG opened a modern industrial trolley factory in Kołbaskowo. The plant will produce counterbalanced forklifts for all brands in the KION Industrial Trucks & Services segment. This also applies to the model series that have so far been produced at plants in Western Europe.

WHAT WAS OUR TASK
Comprehensive implementation of a regenerative kitchen and employee canteen
SOLUTION
The investor focused on proven solutions of German companies. The Komat company took care of comprehensive, individually made stainless steel furniture. The canteen and the regenerative kitchen have been equipped with MKN combi steamers, Blanco's LiveCooking module, and Ideal Ake refrigerated cabinets. The dishwashing technology was selected and supplied by Meiko - the first Meiko HXL dishwasher in Poland was installed in the canteen.
